Frequently Asked Questions
I've heard that weight training is bad for children as it stunts their growth. Is this true?
No - there is very little evidence that weight training stunts a child's growth.
If coached correctly and the child is physically mature enough, then weight training can have massive positive effects on their performance. We make sure that every athlete is training in the optimal way for their given level.
I don't want my child getting bulky, slow and less agile - isn't that what gym training does?
No - only certain types of gym training do this. All of the training that we do will make your child stronger, faster and more agile fitting specifically to the sport that they play.
